Understanding the Admission Application Process
Academic Advisor & Preparation of Admission Application
The moment you interact with our school, each person will be assigned an Academic Advisor. Your advisor will be your primary point of contact throughout your entire academic career with Queens.
If you have not yet spoken with your assigned advisor, you will need to schedule an appointment. If no appointment is scheduled, please be aware that our team will proactively reach out to you.
- Domestic students will receive phone calls from 704-343-5518
- International students will be scheduled for a Google Meet virtual conference
In order to fill out your admission application, you will have to create an account in our admission portal.
Your Academic Advisor will be notified that you have started this process to schedule an appointment.
Application Review and Advocacy
After meeting with you, your Academic Advisor will present your application to an Admissions Counselor for formal review. During this stage, your advisor will advocate on your behalf, helping to determine your eligibility and secure placement in your chosen program.
Please note that Queens College of Theology has a limited number of seats available per program, per semester.
Review Timeline
The admissions application process may take up to one week. During this time, you are encouraged to remain in close contact with your Academic Advisor. Your advisor can provide updates on your application status and, when appropriate, assist in expediting the process. If you would like to have more confidence on whether or not you will be accepted into our school, you should connect with your academic advisor who will go over your background, academic credentials, and overall goals to ensure our programs are best for you.
Admissions Decision and Next Steps
Once a decision has been made, the Admissions Counselor will notify your Academic Advisor. Your advisor will then contact you directly to explain the decision and guide you through your next steps, including enrollment and orientation procedures.
